How to play Blackjack + 3

Blackjack +3 is the same Blackjack we all know and love, with an extra chance to win! In Blackjack +3 you'll be playing against the dealer in the usual way, but with the chance of winning big by placing an optional +3 Side Bet - which could pay out at up to 100:1!

Overview:

The main aim of Blackjack is to try to beat the Dealer by accumulating a hand value total close to, but not over, 21 points. You need to draw cards until your hand adds up to 21, or comes as close as possible without exceeding 21. If your first two cards total 21 (a ten card plus an ace), you have a Blackjack.

If you are dealt any two cards other than a Blackjack, then you may draw cards up to a total of 21. A player who stands, chooses not to receive additional cards. Any hand exceeding 21 (bust) loses regardless of the dealer's total. The dealer must draw on 16 and stands on 17. If the dealer's hand is the same as the players the hand is tied, otherwise the higher hand wins.

Values of the Cards:

In Blackjack, the cards are valued as follows:

  • An Ace may have a value of either 1 or 11. When the value of the Ace is taken as 11, this is referred to as a "soft" hand. An Ace will adopt the value most beneficial for your hand. For example, an Ace and a 7 will add up to 18. However, if you choose to take another card causing the hand's value to exceed 21, the Ace will revert to a value of 1. For example, an Ace, a 7 and a face card will add up to 18 (not 28).
  • The cards from 2 through 9 are valued at their face value.
  • The 10, Jack, Queen, and King are all valued at 10.
  • Blackjack is if your first two cards are a ten value card plus an ace.

In Blackjack +3 you can place next to your normal Blackjack bet a side bet that increases your chance of winning big.

How to Bet:

You can place a normal Blackjack bet within the central betting area and to the right of that is a +3 betting space where you can bet against the pay table as printed above it. To place your bet, simply click on a chip of your desired value from the rack at the bottom of the playing field and then click on the required section on the casino table.

You can bet up to £100 in the +3 side betting area and a total of £500 on the Blackjack bet. To play the side bet you must also place a blackjack bet.

Formal Game Rules

The following constitutes the Formal Game Rules:

BLACKJACK +3 is a variant of Blackjack sometimes known as "European no-hole", where the dealer does not initially receive a second ("hole") card. If the dealer later draws a Blackjack all bets (except Player Blackjack) including double downs and splits are lost.

The objective of the game is to draw cards to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Cards have face value except face cards which count as 10 and Aces which can count as 1 or 11. A Blackjack is where an ace is drawn with a 10 value card.

Additionally the player can increase his chances to win by placing a "Side bet" in the +3 box on the table. After the first three cards have been dealt and according to the pay table that has been selected the following will be paid out:

Hands+3 Variable Pay table+3 Fixed rate Pay table
Straight Flush100 : 110 : 1
3 of a Kind33 : 110 : 1
Straight10 : 110 : 1

For each hand played, the player may draw additional cards by pressing "HIT" or stop by pressing "STAND". After the player has played all their hands, the dealer will then draw their hand. The dealer must draw cards if their hand scores 16 or less and stand if their hand scores 17 or more.
